We recently covered Damsel Elysium's immersive contribution to a fascinating new series by SA Recordings, The Hearing Experience (listen here). Concluding the work is the sprawling 'Exquisite Corpse 1' by Bristol experimentalists Tara Clerkin Trio. An intentional nod to the much-loved game of drawing a section of a body then folding it over for the next person to continue, the 9 and a half minute composition moves seamlessly through vastly different moods. This track, and indeed all of the songs in the series, are worth putting your headphones on for, as the artists share their unique sonic perspectives with their listeners, encouraging you to focus solely on the listening process and to consider the endless possibilities of sound. -Holly Mullineaux
